To provide a projector type vehicular headlight simply structured so that remote visibility is enhanced when travelling on an expressway by switching a low beam of the AFS and a light distribution for an expressway travelling mode, and a feel of switching the light distribution is obtained.

This vehicular headlight is equipped with a first lamp unit 20 composed of a light source 21, a reflecting surface 22, a projection lens 23, and a light intercepting member 24, and is also equipped with a second lamp unit 30 integrally and similarly structured in the upper part or the lower part of the first lamp unit. The light distribution pattern of the low beam for regular roads is formed so that the angled position of a cutoff line by the first lamp unit is positioned so as to make a downward angle of 0.57 degree from the horizontal line, and the light distribution pattern for the expressway travelling mode is formed so that the angled position of a cutoff line by the second lamp unit is positioned so as to make a downward angle of 0.4 degree or 0.23 degree from the horizontal line.
