Abstract:
To adjust white balance of light emitted from a light source of a vehicular headlight.SOLUTION: A vehicular headlight includes: three light emitting optical systems 51R, 51G, 51B having light sources 52R, 52G, 52B and diffraction gratings 54R, 54G, 54B; and a white balance adjustment circuit. The light sources 52R, 52G, 52B in the light emitting optical systems 51R, 51G, 51B respectively emit light having predetermined wavelengths different from one another, and the diffraction gratings 54R, 54G, 54B in the light emitting optical systems 51R, 51G, 51B respectively diffract the light from the light sources 52R, 52G, 52B so that the light in which light emitted from the light emitting optical systems 51R, 51G, 51B respectively is synthesized becomes a light distribution pattern for night illumination. The white balance adjustment circuit controls the total luminous flux amount of the light emitted from the light sources 52R, 52G, 52B in the light emitting optical systems 51R, 51G, 51B respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 18
