Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular indicator capable of presenting as fresh indication to a driver the fact that a predetermined position on a scale is reached, and helping the driver recognize the fact.SOLUTION: When a travel speed is equal to or higher than a warning speed, a microcomputer changes a belt-like image 46c which is disposed on an indication layer and displayed while overlapping a decorative ring 43. When the travel speed is equal to or higher than the warning speed and falls within a predetermined range from the warning speed (for example, 5 km/h), the belt-like image 46c is changed to a spot image 46d in which a position associated with the warning speed is the darkest as a center and both sides of the position get gradually lighter widely. The color of the spot image 46d is changed to a first color (for example, red). When the travel speed exceeds the predetermined range and largely exceeds the warning speed, the shape of the image is restored to the shape of the belt-like image 46c similar to the one attained before the travel speed reaches the warning speed. The color of the belt-like image 46c is changed to a second color (for example, red or yellow).
