Abstract:
To provide a vehicular instrument panel structure which can reliably inhibit a frame member from being removed from an instrument panel due to a display device falling forward even if an occupant collides with the display device located in front of the occupant.SOLUTION: A vehicular instrument panel structure 100 includes: a first opening 108 which is provided at an instrument panel 102 and is open to the upper side; a display device 106 having a screen 110 protruding upward from the first opening and oriented to the rear; a frame member 114 which covers the screen of the display device; and a base member 118 which is disposed between the display device and the frame member, is fixed to the instrument panel, and holds the frame member. The frame member has: an upper part 132 having a second opening 138 which exposes the screen and joined to the base member around the second opening; a lower part 134 located below the upper part; and a fixing part 136 protruding downward from the lower part and fixed to the instrument panel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
