Abstract:
To provide a configuration that may stably utilize a lighting device by detecting a failure earlier, on a vehicular lighting device that uses an optical fiber.SOLUTION: A vehicular lighting device includes: a laser light source 11; a light guide member 10 for guiding light emitted from the laser light source 11; a light receiving element 12 installed at an end surface of the light guide member 10; and a control device for controlling the laser light source on the basis of a light volume that is received by the light receiving element 12. The light guide member includes at least one optical fiber 10a that emits light from a lateral surface while guiding light that is incident upon the end surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
