Title:
VEHICULAR LIGHTING FIXTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000331513
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a vehicular lighting fixture having a reduced error between a focus point of a reflecting surface and a filament of a light source bulb and being capable of obtaining reflected light close to parallel light.

A reflecting surface 100 comprises a first reflecting surface 101 and a second reflecting surface 102 which are constituted with two of paraboloids of revolution. A filament 2 of a light source bulb is disposed to extend through a first focus point F1 of the first reflecting surface 101 and a second focus point F2 of the second reflecting surface 102. Consequently, because the filament 2 extends through two focus points F1, F2, an error between the three-dimensional filament 2 and the zero-dimensional focus points F1, F2 can be reduced compared with the one having one focus point, whereby reflecting light L2 close to parallel light can be obtained.
