A gear tooth part 502 formed at the shaft end part of a plus driver 500 is contacted with a metallic (steel made) protection retainer 350 which higher rigidity than that of the posterior wall 112 of a resin made (polypropylene made) housing 110. Accordingly, the gear tooth part 502 of the plus driver 500 and the tip 502A are rubbed with the protection retainer 350 when the plus driver 500 is rotated in order to adjust the optical axis. Even if the plus driver 500 is rotated in order to adjust the optical axis, a spacing between a half cylindrical part 352 and an angular wheel 210 of the protection retainer 350 does not become wider over the long term. Accordingly, appropriate engagement dimension with the gear tooth 212 of the gear tooth part 502 and the angular wheel 210 of the plus driver 500 is maintained over the long term. Accordingly, that is, the optical axis of a head lamp 100 can be adjusted stably over the long term.
