Abstract:
To provide a vehicular occupant protection system capable of moving an interior material to the inner side of a cabin in a short time in a predetermined case.
The vehicular occupant protection system 10 comprises a rear pillar garnish 22 for covering a rear pillar 18 from the inner side of a cabin, an in-garnish chamber 20 which is arranged in a non-folded state between the rear pillar 18 and the rear pillar garnish 22, and supplied with gas and inflated thereby, and an inflator which is operated in a predetermined case to supply gas into the in-garnish chamber 20.
