To provide a vehicular power train control device for preventing excessive temperature rise of an electric supercharger without the need for additional sensors.
The control device defines a supercharging region where supercharging is performed by the electric supercharger 16 and a natural air supply region where no supercharging is performed in accordance with the operated condition of an engine 2. Determining that a vehicle is in a steady travel condition when the operated condition of the engine 2 is in the supercharging region, it controls an intake air control means 24 to increase the speed ratio of a transmission 6 to increase an engine speed until the operated condition of the engine 2 transfers into the natural air supply region while maintaining engine output before a change of the speed ratio.
