To solve a problem that an stored article is seen from the outside of a vehicle through a rear window glass when a small article is stored in a recessed portion and stolen if things come to the worst, in a conventional rear storage seat wherein a space can be use according to uses such as storing the small article in the storing recessed portion in a state that the seat is not stored.

In the vehicular rear storage seat, a seat is stored in the storing recess 24 formed on a vehicular floor surface 22 behind the seat while a seat back 2 is folded on a seat cushion 4. The vehicular rear storage seat comprises a board 16 turning about a vehicular rear side that is far from the seat, and openably covering the seat storing recess 24; a board moving element 10 suspended from a rear end lower portion of the seat, having a lower end positioned at a front lower portion of the board 16 covering the seat storing recess 24, and moving the board 16 to a position that does not disturb a seat action by interlocking with a seat storing action or an opposite action; and supporting elements 12a, 12b fixed to the lower end of the board moving element 10, and supporting the front lower portion of the board 16 covering the seat storing recess 24. Therefore, the seat storing recess 24 is covered by the board 16, and the inside of the recess 24 is shielded from the outside of the vehicle, so that the article stored in the recess 24 is not seen.
