Abstract:
To provide a vehicular seat device capable of excellently supporting the head of a sitting person by a headrest.
In the seat device 10 for a vehicle, a back frame 27 is formed by right and left side frames 35, 36 and an upper frame 37 in a portal shape; the upper frame 37 includes a headrest 16; the right and left side frames 35, 36 include a back pan 28 for a backrest; and the back pan 28 is configured to support a predetermined load F1 acting from the front of the seat. The back pan 28 includes a fracture tolerance section that can be fractured by a load F3 that exceeds the predetermined load F1 in the backrest part 43 between the right and left side frames 35, 36.
