Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the unfolding direction of an airbag constant with stability by rolling the other terminal behind from both the sides of an airbag and providing stay cloth of a material with little stretch which continuously wraps the airbag from sewing seams to be a breaking part of a trim cover.
SOLUTION: An air bag 1a is assembled to expand and unfold by bag expanding pressure generated from an output part of an inflater 1b. A trim cover 2 sews one terminal together with each terminal of a front surface cover part 2a and a side surface 2b sewing seams 2c to be a breaking part 3 and sews stay cloth 7, 8. The stay cloth 7, 8 rolls the other terminal behind from both the sides of an airbag 1a, connects and fix with/to a side plate 5 of a seat back frame 4 and wraps the airbag 1a. When an airbag device 1 receives an output signal from an impact sensor, the airbag 1a receives an output of the inflater 1b and expands and unfolds. Expanding pressure of the airbag 1a is effectively concentrated on the sewing seams 2c of the breaking part 3 and sewing seams 2c are strongly pulled.
