To retain usage feeling of a seat at a sufficient level by only operating a seat back without moving a seat cushion in a longitudinal direction for usual reclining operation in the seat that allows tilt down operation.
In the vehicular seat, a four-bar link mechanism capable of moving the seat cushion in a longitudinal direction is constituted and the tilt down operation that the seat back 18 is forwardly fallen down can be performed. The vehicular seat is provided with a lock mechanism 40 for locking operation of the four-bar link mechanism; a switching mechanism 50 for switching the lock mechanism from the lock state to the unlock state at the tilt down operation; and an interlocking cable 30 in which the seat back and the rear link are bonded. At the usual reclining operation, the lock mechanism 40 is retained in the lock state and the interlocking cable 30 is retained in the relaxed state. At the tilt down operation, the lock mechanism 40 is switched to the unlock state, and motion of the seat back operates the four-bar link mechanism through the interlocking cable 30.
