Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress forward movement amounts of a seat main body at a collision of a vehicle to the minimum.SOLUTION: The vehicular seat according to the present invention comprises: a portion 72 to be engaged (a striker 72) provided in a slide table 20; an engaging portion 75 (a hook 75), provided in the seat main body 60, which engages with the portion 72 to be engaged in the slide table 20 in an advancing direction of the seat main body 60 when the seat main body 60 is at a seated position facing a front of a vehicle; and an engagement releasing mechanism 80 that releases engagement of the engaging portion 75 with the portion 72 to be engaged. The engagement releasing mechanism 80 moves the engaging portion 75 to an engagement release position by retreat of the slide table 20 to a predetermined position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
