Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat which can inhibit damage of a seat back caused by force acting on a seat back while inhibiting weight increase.SOLUTION: A vehicle seat 1 includes: a seat part 2 which supports a hip of an occupant; a backrest 3 which has a seat back 5 and supports the back of the occupant; and a reclining mechanism 8 having brackets 82 which rotate around a rotation axis C and allowing the backrest 3 to rotate relative to the seat part 2. Each bracket 82 is fastened to a side surface plate 51 by a first bolt 61, a second bolt 62, and a third bolt 63 inserted through the bracket 82 and the side surface plate 51 of the seat back 5. An insertion position of the third bolt 63 is offset from a straight line L passing through an insertion position of the first bolt 61 and an insertion position of the second bolt 62.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
