Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular security system capable of securing a specified security level or higher while considering convenience for an occupant who remains in a cabin when an alarm mode is set.SOLUTION: In both cases of an unlocking operation performed from the inside of a vehicle 2 and the unlocking operation performed from the outside of the vehicle without using a key 4 for at least doors 2DD, 2DP, 2DR and 2DL of the vehicle, when an alarm mode is set in a vehicular security system 1 in which a predetermined crime prevention function is enabled, the doors 2DD, 2DP, 2DR, and 2DL are positioned near to, and associated with seats 2SD, 2SP, 2SR, and 2SL in a cabin, respectively. If the unlocking operation is applied on one of the doors 2DD, 2DP, 2DR, and 2DL from the inside of the vehicle when the alarm mode is set, it is determined how many seats are occupied judging from the seat corresponding to the door, and the crime prevention function is disabled with regard to the unlocking operation on the door from the inside of the vehicle by the same number of times as the number of the occupancy seats.
