Title:
VEHICULAR SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013148388
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a vehicular sensor capable of reducing a radiation noise due to electric discharge from a vehicle component or a noise of a signal line, and being easily installed.

A vehicular sensor 1 includes: a detecting portion 2 for carrying out predetermined detection; a housing 6 for storing the detecting portion 2; a signal line 3 connected to the detecting portion 2 in the inside of the housing 6 and transmitting a detection signal; an earth line 4 coated with the same sheath as the signal line 3; and a stay 5 for mounting the housing 6 to a vehicle component 11. The stay 5 is made of conductive material, and the earth line 4 is electrically connected to the stay 5 in the inside of the housing 6. Therefore, the vehicle component 11 is electrically connected to a vehicle through the stay 5 and the earth line 4, so that a noise mixing in the signal line 3 or a radiation noise due to the charging of the vehicle component 11 can be effectively decreased. When mounted to the vehicle component 11 through the stay 5, the housing 6 can be simultaneously earth-connected, so that the vehicular sensor 1 can be easily installed without separately carrying out earth-connection.
