The vehicular suspension system is provided with an electromagnetic shock absorber, a connection mechanism having an elastic connection element and a hydraulic type damper which are arranged in series with respect to the shock absorber, and a control device for controlling an absorber force which the shock absorber generates. The absorber force which the shock absorber generates is adjustably constituted from the difference (T2-T1) of the absorber force in a varying direction of the follow-up property (a dotted line and a dashed line) of the absorber force (acting absorber force) which acts on the upper and lower parts of a spring to a command (a solid line) about the absorber force by the control device. According to the system thus constituted, the relative deviation (a hatched part) of the acting absorber force generated by the difference of the varying direction of the absorber force is enabled to be reduced.
