Title:
VEHICULAR TRIMMING MEMBER HAVING AIR BAG DOOR PART
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3430915
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce fracturing force of a tear part of an air bag door part to a desired value or less without deteriorating the quality of appearance even if the air bag door part of a vehicular trimming member and a main body part are formed on the same resin.
SOLUTION: Thick parts 26 projecting on the back surface 20A side of an air bag door part 20 are respectively formed on both sides of a thin part 24, and the thickness of each thick part 26 is larger than the plate thickness of a general part of the air bag door part 20. Therefore, resin can easily flow to a cavity for forming the thick part in injection molding, and the resin flow toward the tip 24A of the thin part 24 for forming a tear line is generated by the resin flowing into respective cavities. As a result, since the resin flow reliably reaches the tip 24A of the thin part 24, a resin joint part can be reliably formed on the tip 24A of the thin part 24 to be taken as the tear line.
