Abstract:
To provide a vehicular undercover structure capable of accomplishing both the improvement of aerodynamic performance and the minimization of thermal adverse effect from a high-temperature member without an adverse effect to a conventional floor lower section structure.SOLUTION: An undercover structure which is provided at a floor lower section of a vehicle includes: an undercover main body that covers a part of the floor lower section of the vehicle from the lower side; a tabular rotational undercover which is pivotably supported by a rotation shaft that extends from the undercover main body in the vehicle heightwise direction, is placed at a position overlapping the upper space of the undercover main body, and is rotatable relative to the undercover main body through the rotation shaft; and a rotation mechanism that causes the rotational undercover to rotate relative to the undercover main body from the overlapping position when the vehicle reaches a predetermined running speed, to reach a covering position where a different part from the above-described part of the floor lower section is covered, and to rotate from the covering position to the overlapping position when the running speed of the vehicle becomes slower than the predetermined running speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2B
