Abstract:

To improve a power dividing device used for a vehicular transmission.

The power dividing device includes a first rotary element rotating around a rotary shaft to drive the rotary shaft and a first rotary output. A second rotary element is housed within the first rotary element to be capable of rotating around the same shaft for driving the second rotary output. A first fluid chamber relates to the first rotary element and a first regulating means to change a volume of the first fluid chamber depending on the rotary movement of the first rotary element. A second fluid chamber relates to the second rotary element and the second regulating means to change a volume of the second fluid chamber depending on the rotary movement of the second rotary element. A commutator establishes at least regularly the transmission of a fluid flow closed between the first and second chambers during the rotary movements of the first and second rotary elements. Relative timing of the changes in the volumes of the first and second chambers determines a rotating speed of the second rotary element depending on the rotary movement of the first rotary element.
