To provide a vehicular wheel manufacturing method in which a hub hole flange is formed which has a hub hole of a predetermined hub hole diameter and an opening end of a predetermined outer circumferential diameter without performing any cutting work.
A thin-walled annular preliminary formed part 25 is circumferentially formed by press-machining the hole circumferential edge 23 of a preliminary hole 22 cut in a plate-like base material without constraining its hole end face 22a. A surplus material 24 is swaged in the preliminary hole 22. The hole circumferential edge 29 of a hub original circular hole 28 formed by removing an inner part from the annular preliminary formed part 25 is folded so as to be erected to the wheel surface side, and a hub hole flange 6 is formed which has the hub hole 5 of the predetermined hub hole diameter, and an opening end 6a of a predetermined outer circumferential diameter formed by the annular preliminary formed part 25. A vehicular wheel 1 is manufactured by this method.
