To manufacture a vehicular wheel equipped with a Helmholtz resonator for absorbing air column resonance energy in a tire inner space, with good productivity.
A disc member 10 and a rim member 20 made from separated castings are provided. A circumferential portion 10e of the disc member 10 and one end edge portion 20e of the rim member 20 are welded with each other through an annular inside welding portion 51 and an outside welding portion 52. An annular cavity 35 is formed between the inside welding portion 51 and the outside welding portion 52. The disc member 10 and the rim member 20 are integrally casted with a plurality of partitioning walls 15 and 25 arranged at intervals in a circumferential direction. The annular cavity 35 is partitioned into a plurality of independent air chambers 41 by the partitioning walls 15 and 25. The rim member 20 is formed with a communication hole 42 connecting the air chambers 41 to an inner space of a tire. A laser beam is used for the welding. The thermal energy of the laser beam is prevented from being released to the partitioning walls 15 and 25 by annular heat insulation spaces 31 and 32.
