Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular wheel tire fitting/removing machine.SOLUTION: A vehicular wheel tire fitting/removing machine 1 has: a bearing structure 2; installment/rotation means 4 for a rim C of a vehicular wheel R; a cutter holder assembly 5 which is operatively connected the bearing structure 2, and comprises at least one tool 8, 9, 10 for removing a tire P from the rim C or fitting the tire to said rim C; adjustment means 11, 12 which can adjust relative positions between the cutter holder assembly 5 and the rim C in order to locate the cutter holder assembly 5 at an optimum operation position so that the tool 8, 9, 10 can perform operations for fitting and removing the tire P; and visual signal means 13, 14 at said optimum position which has at least one emitter 13, 14 for light beam L1, L2. In the machine 1, the optimum operation position is decided when an incident point of light beam L1, L2 on the wheel R is coincident with an outer section point of the rim C end part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
