Abstract:
To provide a flow velocity measuring device and a flow velocity measuring program with which it is possible to increase a dynamic range.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic sensor 1 transmits an ultrasonic wave S0 to the inside of a flow path and receives echo signals S1, S2 from inside of the flow path. An ultrasonic wave transmit/receive unit 3 oscillates the ultrasonic sensor 1 at a prescribed frequency and receives echo signals S1, S2 from the ultrasonic sensor 1. An analog/digital converter 4 converts the echo signals S1, S2 from the ultrasonic wave transmit/receive unit 3 from analog to digital. A control unit 5 operates the ultrasonic wave transmit/receive unit 3 on a repetition cycle and receives echo signals S1, S2 from the ultrasonic wave transmit/receive unit 3 via the analog/digital converter 4. The control unit 5 computes a flow velocity inside of the flow path at a measurement position in accordance with the gradient of phase difference between the frequency spectra of at least two echo signals S1, S2 from the measurement position in the flow path that are adjacent to each other on the repetition cycle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
