To provide a vending machine that is reduced in thickness wherein an interference between a part of an inner door lock mechanism exposed to the front of an inner door and equipment on the back of an outer door can be easily prevented and a clearance between the front of the inner door and the back of the outer door is reduced when closed.
A lock lever 13 of the lock mechanism LM1 has a shaft portion rotatably and axially slidably supported in the inner door 12 such that an engagement portion 13b and an operation portion 13c are exposed from an end face of the inner door 12. In a locking state of the lock mechanism LM1, only a part of the engagement portion 13b and the operation portion 13c of the lock lever 13, and a positioning plate 15 are exposed in a right end position on the front of the inner door 12, so that a width dimension of the part of the lock mechanism LM1 in the locking state exposed to the front of the inner door 12 can be practically reduced than before and that the exposed position can be limited to the right end of the front of the inner door 12.
