To provide a vending machine structured so as to precisely inform a customer of the status of each of a plurality of kinds of articles, such as being vended, sold-out, or replenished.

An article T is delivered to the customer, from an article delivery port 141 in the front panel of a vending machine body 110, and an article T is replenished into an inside of an article storage section 120, from an upper opening section 113 in the rear panel of the vending machine body 110. When a replenishment detection section 190 detects that the article T is being replenished for the article storage section 120, a replenishment informing section 200 informs of the detected replenishing status, to the front panel side of the vending machine body 110, for the corresponding article storage section 120. Accordingly, vending status, sold-out status, or replenishing status can be informed precisely to the customer for each of the plurality of kinds of articles.
