Abstract:
To provide a feeder capable of improving reliability of taking out a veneer on the top layer from a deposition veneer formed by depositing a short and small-width veneer or the like.SOLUTION: A feeder 1 for shipping a veneer on the top layer from a deposited deposition veneer 4 in a fiber direction, includes a pickup device 6 having many pickup tools, a transport device 3, and a veneer detection sensor 10 for detecting a deposition state of an upper layer of the deposition veneer 4. In the veneer feeder 1, a pickup tool is operated, which corresponds to a part detected that a veneer exists on the top layer by the veneer detection sensor 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
