PURPOSE: To feed veneers alternatively in reverse direction by pushing the rear end of zigzag portion while winding medium through rotation of reel.

CONSTITUTION: Pushing bodies 7, 7' are arranged near to the zigzag ends while retreating slightly from the feeding face for adhesive coating systems 6, 6' arranged to the right and left of an elevatable table 1. The feeding face and the position of the uppermost veneer 5 on the pallet 2 are maintained at approximately same height through elevation of said table 1 and the medium 3 is wound through rotation of reel 4. The uppermost zigzag portion is pulled up as the medium 3 is wound to lift the rear end of veneer 5 positioned on the medium 3 thus to operate a push body 7 synchronuously to push the rear end of said zigzag portion. Consequently, the veneer 5 is transferred to the left and fed to the left adhesive coating system 6'.
