Abstract:
PURPOSE: To alleviate a load of a veneer-loading operation and to apply it to an automatic operation.
CONSTITUTION: A trestle having a post 51 and a veneer-placing unit 52 is so provided as to cross over a traveling track 2 at an upstream side of a drying chamber, and a veneer-loading mechanism 53 for loading an undried veneer P1 in a veneer container 34 of a truck 3 is formed at an upstream side of the unit 52. The mechanism 53 has a chute 53b having a veneer-loading inlet 55 at an upper part and a veneer discharge port 56 opposed to the container 34 at a lower part, and a pair of veneer-supply rollers 53c provided in the chute 53b to hold the veneer P1 loaded in the inlet 55 to forcibly shift it to the container 34.
