Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve measurement accuracy of a non-invasive venous pressure measurement system.SOLUTION: A pressure control unit 11 varies a pressure applied to a cuff 21 mounted on a living body's position including a vein and an artery. A pressure sensor 12 detects a pulse wave from pressure that is received from the position by the cuff 21. A venous pressure calculation unit 13 calculates a venous pressure on the basis of pressures applied to the cuff 21 and pulse waves detected by the pressure sensor 12 during variation in the pressure applied to the cuff 21. The pressure control unit 11 repeatedly executes a measurement step of increasing or decreasing the pressure applied to the cuff 21 from an initial value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
