To prevent an outside wall 1 and a ceiling 19 under eaves from contaminated when the air in a room 2 is exhausted to the outdoor 3, and to suppress degradation of ventilation performance by reducing a pressure loss.
In a vent cap 18 for ventilation which contains a shield part 8, a cover part 10 which blocks ventilation is provided to a part of a ventilation passage 9. The thickness increases, on the room 2 side, as advances toward a part which is different from the center of the shield part 8, starting from an outer peripheral edge 11 of the shield part 8, to provide a protruding part 14 having an apex of the thickness. Consequently, even if the air exhausted from the room 2 is contaminated, the ceiling 19 under eaves and the outside wall 1 are prevented from contaminated by the exhaust. Further, in the vent cap 18 for ventilation, thanks to the position of the apex 13 of the protruding part 14, an exhaust stream 17 is suppressed from advancing toward the cover part 10. Since the exhaust stream 17 is efficiently discharged to the outdoor 3, a pressure loss is reduced, and decrease of the ventilation air volume is prevented.
