PURPOSE: To prevent a pipe from being clogged with materials by providing a vent hole that opens only in the upper side kneading chamber within a pair of kneading chambers in its lower end part.
CONSTITUTION: The vent hole 13 is made up of an upper vent hole 14 and a lower vent hole 15 and the upper vent hole 14 is formed on a vent cylindrical body 16 arranged in a vertical direction and the lower vent hole 15 is formed on the main body 1 in a tapered shape such that it opens only relative to the upper part of the upper side kneading chamber 2. And, on the upper surface side of the kneading chamber 2, a circular arc guide surface is formed within the range of boundaries of both kneading chambers 2, 3 from the lower end of the lower part vent hole 15. The main body 1 is provided with a flange 18 and the vent cylindrical body 16 is secured thereto. Each rotor 4, 5 rotates respectively during the period of kneading and, since the vent hole 13 opens only in the side of the kneading chamber 2, the quantity of the material colliding against the surface (a) of the vent hole 13 becomes less, so that the adhering quantity to the surface (a) reduces. Accordingly, the clogging of the vent 13 can be prevented.
