Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vent valve which prevents leakage of odor in a drain pipe while reliably inhibiting chattering and eliminates a negative pressure to smoothly drain water.SOLUTION: A vent valve normally maintains a closed state and enables ventilation by a valve body 3 moving in a body 2 when a negative pressure is produced in the vent valve. An oil retaining part 50 is formed between a valve shaft 26 of the valve body 3 and a body 2 side holding body 4 holding the valve shaft 26, and resistance is provided to the valve shaft 26 by viscosity of an oil 51 to inhibit chattering of the valve body 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
