To obtain the outlet air stream of a fan, which is spread efficiently into radial direction, by a method wherein an air outlet ring, connecting a fan easing, covering the outer peripheral part of the fan near an air outlet port, to an air outlet surface, partitioning the suction side and the air outlet side of the fan, is formed so that its inner diameter is increased toward the air outlet surface.
A front wall 2A is formed before the air outlet side of a fan so as to be a part of a duct for sending air stream, produced by the fan, into a refrigerating chamber, a freezing chamber, a vegetable chamber or the like while the air outlet surface 3 is connected to a fan casing 4 through an air outlet ring 12. The diameter of the air outlet ring 12 is increased gradually from the suction side of the same toward the air outlet surface 3 while an air outlet distance 13 is specified so as to be substantially equal to or smaller than an air outlet diameter 14. Outlet air stream 5 from the vicinity of the air outlet ring 12 is formed so as to be spread largely into the radial direction along the air outlet surface 3. Accordingly, collision of air against the front wall is reduced whereby the loss of energy can be prevented.
