To provide a ventilating device capable of arranging a reception part for receiving an infrared ray signal efficiently and preventing it from receiving influence of external noise of a fluorescent lamp or the like.
This ventilating device is provided with a blower 2 provided above cooking equipment 1 and exhausting lamp black generated when cooking outdoors to operate in the interlocking relationship with the cooking equipment 1 is provided with an operation switch part 6 for setting operation of the blower 2 and the reception part 9 for receiving an infrared ray signal transmitted from the cooking equipment 1. The reception part 9 is arranged on a rear face side of a push button of the operation switch part 6 to receive an infrared ray signal transmitted from the cooking equipment 1 through an infrared filter 13. Consequently, the reception part for receiving an infrared ray signal can be efficiently arranged, and it is possible to prevent this device from receiving influence of external noise of the fluorescent lamp or the like.
