PURPOSE: To self-purify oil particles adhered to the ventilating hole of the ventilating device by means of solid super strong acid catalysts heated with a heater and keep the ventilating hole in clean state at all times by a method wherein layers comprising said solid super strong acid catalyst and said heater are arranged at the indoor air influx port and the air flow passage wall of the ventilating hole of the ventilating device.
CONSTITUTION: The layer comprising the solid super strong acid catalyst 3 and the heater 4 is arranged at the indoor air influx port 2 provided at the upstream side of the blower 1 in the ventilating device containing the blower 1 which discharges the indoor air forcibly. And the layer comprising the solid super strong acid catalyst 3' and the heater 4' is also arranged at the air flow passage wall 5 opposing to the blower 1 of the main body 6, to which the blower 1 is mounted. Said influx port 2 is provided with a filter consisting of a wire gauze and a frame body and said layer comprising the catalyst 3 and the heater 4 is housed in said filter. At least more than one kind of catalysts selected from the group of catalysts, which are combined with Fe2O3, ZrO2 and XF5, in which X represents As, Sb, Bi, Ta or the like, treated with sulfur compound are employed as the solid super strong acid catalyst.
