Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automatically open and close a damper using negative pressure due to the operation of a ventilating fan and a weight by attaching the damper so as to rotate to open an air supply hole against the operation of the weight when the negative pressure is produced in an air supply passage owing to the exhaust operation of the ventilating fan.
CONSTITUTION: A damper 10 comprises an upper blade part 11 extending in one direction from a shaft part 14 pivoted by a bearing provided in the peripheral edge part of an air supply hole 9c, a lower blade part 12 extending to the other part from the shaft part 14 and a weight blade part 13 provided below the upper blade part 11. When the switch of a ventilating hood 4 is turned on, the peripheral air in the end part 9a of an air supply passage 9 in a kitchen side is exhausted H outside by a ventilating fan 6 so that negative pressure is produced in the kitchen 1. Thus, the negative pressure is also produced in the air supply passage 9, so that the lower blade part 12 is rotated so as to be attracted to the air supply passage 9 side against the weight action of the weight blade part 13. Thus, the air supply passage 9 is opened.
