This ventilation equipment is formed of a ventilation equipment main body 2 arranged in a ceiling of a common space 11 passing through an up-stair and a down-stair of a building 100, a lead-in duct 3 for leading the air supplied from outside of the building into the ventilation equipment main body 2, a supply duct 4 for supplying the supplied air from the ventilation equipment main body 2 to each room inside of the building, an air discharge duct 5 for discharging the discharged air inside of the building which is taken into the ventilation equipment main body 2 from the common space 11, and a heat exchanger 22 provided in the ventilation equipment main body 2 and having an air supply part 43a wherein the supplied air passes through in the horizontal direction and an air discharge part 43b wherein the discharged air passes through in the vertical direction to exchange the heat between the supplied air and the discharged air.
