PURPOSE: To reduce cost required for keeping good work environment at a fuselage working area by providing an air curtain formation means, an exhaust means and an air intake means in a building for housing an airplane.
CONSTITUTION: A building 1 to house an airplane AP is constituted and sized, so as to be capable of housing an airplane AP having each type of dimension and shape. Also, the ventilation facility of the building 1 is provided with an air curtain formation means, an exhaust means and an air intake means. Regarding the internal space of the building 1, the air curtain formation means generates an air curtain AK for separating a fuselage working area Z1 for the fuselage section of the housed airplane AP from a main wing working area Z2 for the main plane section of the airplane AP at both right and left sides of the area Z1. Also, the exhaust means exhausts the area Z1 of the air. The air inlet means supplies the area Z2 with the ventilation air in such state as generating an air flow in a direction toward the area Z1. According to this construction, the environment of the area Z2 due to a work at the area Z1 can be prevented from deteriorating.
