Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily, efficiently and precisely generate and modify a molecular structure desired by a user. CONSTITUTION:For combining a first molecular structure with a second molecular structure to generate a new molecular structure, a first molecular structure 21 is displayed on a main window 12a in a half vector format, a second molecular structure 22d is displayed on a reference subwindow 12b in a half vector format, and when combination axes 21' and 22d' of the first and second molecules are designated, a new molecular structure 23 is generated so that the two designated axes can be mutually confronted to form one straight line and the newly generated molecular structure is displayed on the main window 12a. For modifying conformation, a projection view is displayed on a structure modification subwindow 12c, a prescribed combination axes of the molecular structure is designated as a rotary axis, one of the two molecular structures to be combined via the combination axis is designated, the designated molecular structure is rotated within a subwindow by a rotational operation to modify the molecular structure subjected to modification.
