Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently enable natural ventilation also in an office building.SOLUTION: A ventilation system (20) is provided on an exterior wall (12) facing a room (11) and includes: an opening (132) located in the vicinity of a ceiling (11b) of the room; a plate-like opening/closing member (16) mounted to cover the opening; and an opening/closing mechanism (17) for opening/closing the opening/closing member between a fully opened position where the opening is opened and a fully closed position where the opening is closed. The ventilation system further includes: a wind speed sensor (25) for detecting outdoor wind speed; and a control device (21) for controlling the opening/closing mechanism in accordance with a change of the wind speed detected by the wind speed sensor so as to displace the opening/closing member among at least three positions including the fully opened position, the fully closed position and at least one intermediate position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
