Abstract:
To provide a ventilation system capable of preventing aerosol containing bacteria from spreading over an entire public restroom when a hand dryer is used.SOLUTION: A ventilation system 1 includes a hand dryer 2 and a ventilation device 3. The hand dryer 2 starts to operate when detecting a hand inserted in a hand drying chamber of the hand dryer 2. The ventilation device 3 can receive a signal indicating start or stop of the operation of the hand dryer 2 from the hand dryer 2, and starts to operate when receiving the signal indicating the start of the operation of the hand dryer 2. A first suction port 5 for sucking air in a public restroom 4 is provided in a portion corresponding to a place where the hand dryer 2 is installed in the public restroom 4. The ventilation device 3 includes first air suction ventilation fans 32 each provided in the public restroom 4 to communicate with the first suction port 5 and blowing air to discharge air in the public restroom 4 to outside of the public restroom 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
