Title:
VENTILATOR TYPE EDDY CURRENT ELECTRIC DYNAMOMETER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2763484
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a compact and simple ventilator type eddy current electric dynamometer which measures a driving power of a driving source without requiring a cooling water at all by generating an eddy current inside a casing, converting a power energy to a heat, absorbing the heat through a temperature rise of a suction air subsequent to a ventilating action of a rotor, and measuring a torque to the casing and a rotating frequency of a main shaft at the same time.
CONSTITUTION: Vanes 19 extending in a radial direction are formed radially in a rotor 16. Suction holes 21a, 21b, 22a, 22b are formed in a radial direction or an axial direction of casings 13a, 13b to be open in the vicinity of a central part of the casings so as to guide the outside air into the casings. At the same time, discharge holes 23a, 23b for guiding the air outside from the inside of the casings are formed in the radial or axial direction of the casings to be open to the outside of the circumference of the rotor.
