To provide a method and device for transporting flexible fabric products in such an improved manner as to avoid the defects of a vacuum bin device.

A venturi tube is incorporated in a pneumatic tube transportation device to be used for flexible woven fabrics including uniforms and table while cloths to be handled by a commercial laundry. The venturi tube has an L-shaped pipe sharply angled for connecting a main piping system thereto and receiving air from a blower. An inside pipe is attached into a main pipe for making a restriction in a connection between the main pipe and the venturi tube. The restriction and bent connection of the venturi tube pipe forms a low pressure region for permitting the section of the fabric products through the pipe and the release thereof directly to a container such as a sling cart. A vent hole hidden in the pipe downstream of the venturi tube is used for improving the reliability and efficiency of the transportation device having pneumatic air leaking operation. The exposure amount of the vent hole can be adjusted by a sleeve which is located at the vent hole to be slid back and forth on a conveyor tube.
