To provide a tile structure which regulates the roofing position of an upper verge tile in relation to a lower verge tile upon roofing work.
A projection 2 is formed on the surface of the verge tile 1 at a position close to a hanging part and on the side of a tail part 14. A recess 3 is formed in the reverse side of the same at a position close to the hanging part and on the side of a head part 12. Upon roofing, the recess 3 of the upper verge tile is fitted to the projection 2 of the lower verge tile in an inserting manner, and the roofing position of the upper verge tile is regulated so that a hanging part surface 11g on the head side of the upper baked-tile body may be arranged to be flush with the hanging part surface 11f on the tail side of the lower baked-tile body. For this purpose, the distance 2a between a left side 2f of the projection 2 and the hanging part surface 11f on the tail side is made to be the same as the distance 3a between a left side 3g of the recess 3 and the hanging part surface 11g on the head side.
