Abstract:
To provide a vermin-controlling composition exhibiting excellent vermin-controlling effects even by a small dosage while utilizing a conventional medicament.
The vermin-controlling composition contains (a) 2,6-dichloro-4-(3,3-dichloroallyloxy)phenyl 3-[5-(trifluoromethyl)-2-pyridyloxy]propyl ethyl (compound A) and (b) a compound obtained by binding vanillyl amine or vanillyl alcohol with a fatty acid by an acid amide or an ester bond respectively, or a glycoside thereof (compound B). The method for controlling the vermin involves applying the vermin-controlling composition or simultaneously or combinedly applying the compounds A and B to a plant to be protected or to the vermin or a habitat of the vermin.
