Abstract:
To realize a smaller and lighter vermin destruction device.
A vermin destruction device uses a first light source 14 and a second light source 16 to guide vermin G in a direction of the second light source 16, and kills the vermin G by discharge between electrodes 20 and 22 that are arranged in a guiding direction. The first light source 14 and the second light source 16 use ultraviolet LEDs 14 and 16 and are installed on front and back sides of a substrate 12, respectively. An energization controller 30 controls energization to the ultraviolet LEDs 14 and 16 and to the electrodes 20 and 22, and realizes efficient vermin destruction by performing discharge when guiding the vermin G.
