To provide a vertical takeoff/landing aircraft having an excellent air frame and capable of obtaining a propulsion force by a simple structure.
The vertical takeoff/landing aircraft includes a frame 1, a crew seat 5 which is hung and supported by an upper portion of the frame 1 via a universal joint 3, a handle 7 fixed to the frame 1 and operated by a crew in the crew seat 5, an engine 9 fixed to the frame 1 above the universal joint 3, and a pair of ducted fans 11a, 11b rotated by the power of the engine 9. When the crew in the crew seat 5 operates the handle 7 in the longitudinal direction and the right-to-left direction, the weight of the crew is relatively moved to the frame 1, the entire vertical takeoff/landing aircraft except the crew seat 5 is tilted to make the vertical takeoff/landing aircraft fly in a desired direction.
