PURPOSE: To improve the performance of a roaster used for cooking fish or the like, by holding a substance to be roasted between a pair of grills, and placing it between a pair of erected heaters.

CONSTITUTION: A pair of heaters are erected at the right and left sides of a roaster and a pair of grills holding a substance to be roasted between them are erected or placed between the two heaters. Since, with such an arrangement, the substance to be roasted can be heated from both sides simultaneously, fish or the like can be roasted satisfactorily without causing warp, so that the performance of a roater can be improved.
